After losing my childhood home to a fire, I decided to give back to the community by joining my local volunteer firehouse. I am an active member and previously served for six years as a Chief Officer of the Jacksonville Volunteer Fire Company. I also pursued this passion further and currently serve as a Captain with a large career fire department in the Baltimore area.
